Explore our 5G network

with Ultra Capacity

T-Mobile and Sprint

have joined forces to create the largest and most reliable 5G network.

more capacity

In a period of six years, our coverage will be 14 times more extensive than it is today.

15 times faster

In a few years, our network will be 8 times faster than the current LTE network, and it will become 15 times faster over the next 6 years.

99% with 5G

We have the largest 5G network in Puerto Rico, and within the next six years, 99% of Puerto Ricans will have access to our 5G network.

5G extended range

Wide coverage nationwide.

Extended range 5G includes our powerful 600 MHz low-band spectrum, which reaches further to provide nationwide coverage. These frequencies allow for speeds faster than 4G LTE, with a range of hundreds of square miles, and they can pass through buildings to provide better coverage both indoors and outdoors. There is no signal that offers better coverage than extended range 5G.

Compatible equipment required; coverage not available in some areas. For some users, a certain plan or feature may be required; see plan details.

5G with ultra capacity

Coverage with improved performance.

Ultra-capacity 5G is made up of the spectrum acquired through our joint venture with Sprint of 2.5 GHz. This provides an increase in capacity and, therefore, higher speed. Ultra-capacity 5G provides a fast and reliable connection in populated areas and at large events, with increased bandwidth to transport large amounts of data at speeds as fast as Wi-Fi.

Based on T-Mobile analysis of Ookla® Speedtest Intelligence® data on average T-Mobile 5G results in the US compared to city mobile Wi-Fi results with 2.5GHz speeds for the second quarter of 2021. 2.5GHz available in selected cities only (see t-mobile.com/5GLayers).
